As a consultant, Brenda currently serves as Country Director for Sésamo in México. In this role she is in charge of partnership building, fundraising, as well as the implementation of Sesame’s educational and social impact projects in the country.

As former Programs Director at PCI Media Impact, Brenda managed over 25 communication and Entertianment-Education programs globally from design to implementation and evaluation. She has experience managing international teams.

Brenda has over eight years of experience in designing behavior change communication strategies using Entertainment-Education (EE) methodologies. EE leverages the power of media and storytelling to shift social norms and promote behavior change. 

Brenda works with clients to design and implement communication strategies that fit their needs and priorities, and respond to their exiting partnerships, capacities and resources. Her recent work includes:

- Support Chemonics, a DC-based development company, to design a behavior change communication strategy that would support violence prevention programs in Guatemala. 

- Conducted a market research for Licity, a web-based legal service in Mexico, to identify the key target audiences' current perceptions, needs and behaviors in regards to the use of legal advice. 

For more than 10 years Brenda has worked as a facilitator and trainer. She started her career developing a training program for immigrant communities in New York on how to produce documentary films. More recently she has facilitated workshops in over 15 countries globally, training governments, NGOs and media producers on how to design behavior change campaigns. 

Brenda has managed video and photography production for corporate and art projects. Clients include Telemundo, Queens Museum of Art, Angel Orensanz Foundation, Cinema Tropical, Mexican Government and Harlem United.
